My Dad Reads is a subscription service that provides personalised bedtime stories featuring parents and their children as the main characters. Our Service includes story generation, delivery, and storage of your personalised content.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of our Service, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.

You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Subscription and Billing

My Dad Reads offers subscription plans that provide access to our services. By subscribing to our Service, you agree to pay all fees associated with your subscription plan.

We may change our subscription fees at any time, but will give you reasonable notice before any change in recurring subscription fees takes effect. You can cancel your subscription at any time, and your subscription will continue until the end of your current billing period.

We use Stripe as our payment processor. Your use of our payment services is subject to Stripe's terms of service and privacy policy.

5. Gift Subscriptions

Gift subscriptions are available for purchase. Gift subscription codes must be redeemed within 12 months of purchase or they may expire. Gift subscriptions are non-refundable but may be transferred to another recipient before redemption.

6. User Content

Our Service allows you to provide information about yourself and your children to personalize your stories. You retain ownership of any information you submit to us.

By providing user content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, and display such content in connection with providing the Service to you.

You are solely responsible for your user content and the consequences of sharing it. You represent and warrant that:

  • You own or have the necessary rights to the user content you provide;
  • The user content doesn't infringe on the rights of any third party; and
  • The user content doesn't violate any applicable laws.

7. Content Ownership and Intellectual Property

The stories generated through our Service are for your personal use. You may download, print, and share these stories within your family, but you may not use them for commercial purposes or distribute them publicly without our permission.

All content provided by My Dad Reads, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use our Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations;
  • Infringe on the rights of others;
  • Distribute malware or engage in harmful activities;

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL MY DAD READS, ITS AFFILIATES, OR ITS LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR USE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
